I have had a licence for Total Security for one device for 5 years and I now want to add a licence for another device. If I was adding two devices when purchasing the licence the cost would be £45, compared to £40 for one device (forgetting about introductory offers).

However, because my existing device is 143 days into it’s current licence I have to pay the full price (£40 without introductory offer) for a further device. I asked if I could cancel the current licence, get a refund for the 222 days prepaid then buy a licence for two devices but was told I would not get any refund for my current licence.

As I said to the person answering my query it appears that Kaspersky is not interested in retaining existing  customers. The last time I looked at a review of anti virus softwear in the UK Kaspersky had gone down to number 8.  I think I will have to add a free virus software programme to my new device, then when the licence on the original device expires go else where

Berry - you have missed the point here - I have the same problem. I have had a Total Security subscription for over 5 years for 3 users and now I want to add 2 more as my kids now have laptops. Kaspersky does not offer any way to do this and I have 222 days remaining on my subscription. I would rather install a good virus protection product rather than some free software - why does Kaspersky not give this option? or at least allow a user to get a refund for unused days (222 in my case) and then put this money towards a new 5 or 10 user licence??

Surely this is just basic customer service?
