league of legends not working properly with kaspersky, frame rate drops to 0 and i cant do anything in game

literally fresh install of kaspersky/ i installed it on my secondary hardrive and not my main storage with OS on it(not sure if this matters or not)/ other online games work final fantasy xiv, street fighter 5, etc. client for league works fine. whenever the TM client with league opens up, frame rate drops to 0 and i cant do anything in game, no notifications are popping up when i play any online games. had kaspersky do database update 3 times. current version of kaspersky on my computer is 20.0.14.1085(c). im gonna uninstall kaspersky and see what happens when i play then

Might be an issue with the vpn connection if i encounter no issues from now on

  1. For clarification, when you say: "Might be an issue with the vpn", do you mean: an issue with Kaspersky Secure Connection VPN software, or, the KSC/VPN virtual location chosen, or something else?
  2. Before KSC/VPN was uninstalled, did you try disabling the Kaspersky Security Data Escort?

been havnig similar difficulties, moment i activate the kaspersky secure connection (which includes the vpn from what i know, very new to the software and vpn stuff in general) latency for most any online games shoots right t he hell up.

ive found that it is by far most noticable on league of legends and tft (both run through the same launcher). thing is this latency issue is ridiculous 150-12k ms latency when kaspersky secure connection is running 102 ms latency when it isnt running.

any fixes beyond just uninstaling, i got the program since it was recomended for net security but ive found so far that it causes serious latency issues

  1. Specifically, which Kaspersky products are installed, provide full name, version & patch(x) → on Windows Taskbar, hover mouse over Kaspersky icons, a small popup will show the information ? 
  2. Check System requirements for Kaspersky Secure Connection ? 
  3. Has a check of List of applications incompatible with Kaspersky AV software been done ? 
  4. Is Kaspersky Secure Connection a subscription license or free
  5. Have all remote virtual locations been tested when the latency issue happens ?  
  6. Which browsers are used to access the online games ? 
  7. Check Incoming and outgoing Internet traffic has sharply increased after Kaspersky Lab product has been installed. How can I rectify the problem?
  8. Has KSC-VPN been uninstalled & reinstalled according to documented procedures ?
