I upgraded to a new pc and switched to Windows 11. I am experiencing a problem with Kaspersky on Windows 11. When I right-click on the Kaspersky icon in the System Tray, my mouse lags for a few seconds. This happens sometimes.

GSI: removed for privacy reasons.

I have tried the following to fix the problem:

  • WINDOWS POWER PLAN set to Ultimate Performance
  • Update all drivers
  • Core Isolation - off
  • Update BIOS
  • BIOS HyperThreading - off
  • BIOS C-states - off

System Information:

  • Intel Core i9-14900k
  • ASUS TUF Gaming Z790 Pro
  • Corsair 48GB DDR5 DOMINATOR 7200Mhz  cl36
  • Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0
  • ASUS Rog Strix 1000w Aura
  • BIOS version: 1645
  • Mouse model: logitech g502

plz help, thank you

Hello,

Welcome.

1a. Windows 11 was Upgrade from previous version? If yes do clean install of windows (it is recomended after upgrade).
1b. Uninstall kaspersky and restart pc, then install kaspersky update and restart. Also you are using older version.

2. I recommend Windows 10 rather than Windows 11 (new version is not better) especially for windows 11 when is lagging sometimes in games.

Maybe kaspersky will offer you to upgrade to the newest kaspersky product version. But without uninstallation and installation is not possible.

Every product must be uninstalled and installed automatically or manually.

Also, check my previous post, but the migration should be online, previous to downloading the installer...

Welcome to Kaspersky Community.

Try to migrate to the new product line, if already available in your country region:

Download:

https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads#update-product

Your KIS license will activate the new Kaspersky Standard, currently in version 21.16 (soon 21.17).

Hi harlan4096,Thanks for the answer

When will version 21.17 come, Should I wait or install version 21.16

Why you have Hyper Threading off? You have Intel Core i9-14900k which have much power.
Also kaspersky uses virtualization technology. I would enable this.

If you still have problems contact Tech Support at https://my.kaspersky.com

I turned it off just to test, the problem was not solved, I turned it on again

virtualization technology is on
