Hi guys, I used my computer for a long time and always was good, until suddenly the KVRT(kasperky virus removal tool) detected the malware MEM:Trojan.win32.SEPEH.gen in my pc (in the system memory), the KVRT restart my computer and in the next scan I do it, nothing was detected, but i do it anoother scan and the malware was detected again, I format my computer, installed the KVRT again and the malware still was here.

I do it other scan, restart my computer and until now, nothing strange is happening. I was peaceful, but I see this.

this is the report of the scan that I realized that day, and I don’t know if the malware was removed because there was an attempt saying that the cure was failed, i check the others scans reports and it’s okay, the last that i do it and the malware was detected is in this print that you are seeing.

I searched for this malware in the community and have a lot of people saying they have the same problem (the malware doesn’t exit)

Someone can help me please, I can’t sleep and my anxiety return because of this. I’m desperate

Hi @marique3596 ,

Do you use any of the Kaspersky products: Anti-Virus, Internet Security, Total Security or Security Cloud?

The limitation of KVRT is that it is an on-demand scanner, it does not provide protection in real time against infections.

Also we recommend to install the relevant security updates and change passwords.

Thanks igor, but you know if the “cure failed” really shows that the malware still persists in my computer? And i don’t use kasperky products, just this.

@marique3596

You need to install all available updates for Windows (recommended) or install the update from the link above.
We also recommend changing the administrator password.

Then run scan with KVRT again (but download a new build)

And Danila I have the verification in two factors enabled, so I don't need to worry about the passwords
