KSMG 2.11 VA with valid and active commercial license but only with a "Only for Updates" functional level

I'm migrating from KLMS to KSMG.

I've installed two KSMG 2.11 virtual appliances in a test scenario, (aren't connected yet to our corporate LAN nor Internet) and added the license key (valid untill July 2026) in one of them. The license is recognize as commercial and valid, but the functional level exhibed in the status is "Only for updates" and all protection's modules (AV, AS, AP,etc)are restricted and its configurations disabled. We tried license in the other one with the same result.

What's wrong??

Hello Alej,

this license is valid until mid next year but it is an add on which means it works with another full license. 
So it is valid for updates from previous KSMG versions, i.e. KSMG 2.0 to 2.1 then 2.1.1 etc.
I suggest to open a ticket with Kaspersky Technical Support to clarify this or to contact your reseller for a new license.
