KIS thinks that a rogue site offering unauthorized Kaspersky support is dangerous. Also it was turned off when I logged in [Closed]

This website has nothing to do with Kaspersky. The company allegedly offers service for Kaspersky products, but you have to pay a lot for it.

They also might want to steal your Kaspersky access data.

Are you saying My Kaspersky web site is not run by Kaspersky Internet Security then?

Kaspersky operates My Kaspersky itself under the URL https://my.kaspersky.com/.
Please compare the URL with the blocked URL.

The blocked URL does not belong to Kaspersky!

I have no direct explanation why your browser wants to load this page. It does not seem normal to me.

Have you checked your system for Adware/Browser Hijacker?
Is a proxy server registered?

I removed the old Browser (firefox) and installed a new one it seems OK now although I have not logged into my Kaspersky.

.  It turned Defender on.  The viruse protector was also windows BUT my Kaspersky program was green

Here was another oddity Win 10 said kaspersky and Win Defender firewall were turned off

mykaspersky.com is a dangerous, fake website. 

my.kaspersky.com is Kaspersky’s legitimate website.

 

  • Regarding “Win 10 said kaspersky and Win Defender firewall were turned off “, sometimes, installed software may have a hiccup, if  “Win 10 said kaspersky and Win Defender firewall were turned off “, happened once and is now resolved, in that the Kaspersky application is active, then everything will be fine, however, if the issue persisted, uninstall & reinstall KIS, with a full shutdown of the computer between each stage. 
  • Also, check KIS software compatibility requirements please?
