KIS found and scanning a lot more files than I have on D drive. [Closed]

Ran selective scan on my drive D which contains over 28 000 files but kaspersky found 46 000 now it is over 90 000 99% and until the end less than a minute :D one hour is one minute? Still scanning and scanning And also 99% of RAM usage ;) 16GB after kaspersky finished scan RAM from 99% to 17 actually 21% 3,50 GB

Hello nexon, this could be related to archives (.zip, .rar,...). KIS likes to put them back to the end of the search and then unpack them into memory. If an archive contains several files, they are counted individually and not just the archive. It is difficult for KIS to give an exact remaining time.

Hello Schulte, Yeah thats true i have large archives... I thought that it is caused by large archives.
