I’m trying to exclude folder from all protection components but whatever I do, Scan task (right click on file and “Scan for viruses”) deletes file.

It happens even if exact name of file is in exclusions.

I have tried several option masks, read examples for KESfW,...and still

Policy is applied to endpoint.

Latest version of portal and endpoint. Sorry for not using eicar test file, but results are same.  What is that I’m doing wrong?

How to exclude complete folder (and subfolders) from all components of protection?

Creating a scan exclusion

In your case, the rule should be like this:

File or folder: d:\art_posao\kaspersky\problemi\bios-up.exe

Object name: *

Creating a scan exclusion

Thank you for link to help. It was helpful. My testing worked by design :).

However, the scan exclusion is not applied when a custom scan task is started for this particular object.

And today adding this record

works. Folder “programi” and his subfolders are excluded from scan. So, everything works. My ignorance led to post. Mea culpa.

Hello

you can check exclude set by object name … you type separate  result …. for object name in ksc
