Kaspersky stopped auto updating

This issue started when my version of Kaspersky Security Cloud Free updated to the newer Kaspersky Free. 

I can still update the databases manually, but auto updates no longer work even when I have them enabled.

Is there a fix to this problem? I'm on Windows 10 21h2 and Kaspersky Free ver. 21.9.6.465

 Yes, I'm on a portable device. I will try this solution later and see if it fixes it.

Hi again! 

I disabled battery saver and my issue got fixed! Auto updates are back as they should. 

Will wait a few days before marking it as the solution just to be completely sure.
