Kaspersky Security Cloud is blocking Slack and WhatsApp desktop apps on Windows

I used to run the WhatsApp and Slack applications on Windows 10 with no problem - but since I installed KSC they can’t connect. They can’t find a connection.

I uninstalled and reinstalled them - but nothing. And - since it’s both of them then I know it’s not a problem with them.

I can easily use the web version of Slack and WhatsApp - but not the desktop app.

If I close down KSC - they work fine.

How do I fix that?

Thanks.

First let’s start with your Web Antivirus Report :

“Detected    not-a-virus:HEUR:AdWare.Script.Pusher.gen

legitimate software that can be used by criminals to damage your computer or personal data”
