• We understand, it can be confusing, why don't you test both - see which one you prefer - or, logic, the new product has to be better - right, like they wouldn't release a product that didn't work as well as their existing software - right?
• Sadly, Kaspersky has not yet published a lot of information about the *new* Kaspersky Free, other than their Kaspersky Free resource, from the Online Help database. 
• It's been released in the US, in Californian & non-Californian versions - Kaspersky Free for Windows®, UK Kaspersky Free for Windows® & a few other regions, not a full release as yet. 
• Kaspersky's blog: Kaspersky: we’re starting a new digital life - it includes a video of Kaspersky Plus Review: First Impressions by The PC Security Channel, that will give you some information as to how the app functions, noting Kaspersky Free does not have the same functionality as K Plus.

• The Kaspersky Security Cloud package comparison has a table that shows which features are available - that makes it very easy for users to understand that software range. 
• Kaspersky Security Cloud Free for Windows®, from Kaspersky's Global website, is available for a range of different regions, more than the new Kaspersky Free.
