Kaspersky secure desktop alert setting change attempts not by me.

Hello,

 

About two minutes after I boot up my laptop, Kaspersky greys out the screen and throws up a dialog box “Are you sure you want to change the setting”. This happens without me touching my computer, and may be related to discord or protected browser opening, as it has happened at the same time as these. I’ve run full scans with both Kaspersky and Hitmanpro and both have turned up nothing.

I’m running Windows 10 version 21H1, OS build 19043.1237

The product is Kaspersky Total Security, and the application version is 21.3.10.391 (f)

The natural feeling is that this is some sort of malicious attack, though I would love to be told I am wrong.

I tired the solution you provided and restored my settings to recommended defaults. However, the issue persists. Any other ideas? Thank you for your help.
