Kaspersky Screen Announcements: How to control the notifications?

Kaspersky tells me every time it does something that it just did something.  I know it did likely because I asked it too.  Unfortunately that annoying notification doesn’t dissolve into nothingness on its own and must be clicked to remove.  I have not found a means to stop these inane notifications.  Is there a way to stop this waste of effort and electrons?

@Open Synapses, have you tried disabling event notifications?

No Andrew, I haven’t as I am using Total Security and have found no screen similar to that.  I figured there must be a disable notifications tick box.  How do I get to that?
