Kaspersky redirects Google Ads Aliexpress links to Taobao error page.

I've been having trouble for a few months now. Each time I search for something to buy on Google Chrome on my Windows 10 PC, when I clic on any of the google ads showcasing aliexpress products, instead of opening the aliexpress page I get sent to a taobao error page.

For example the first link in shown in google search is (bunchofleters = removed info due to security reasons)

which is supposed to land me on aliexpress

link. However, it redirects to that damned https://error . taobao . com/app/tbhome/common/error.html toabao error page. This happens on both Google Chrome AND Microsoft Edge.

However, if I open that exact same google link in my Samsung Smartphone on the same WiFi network it loads the correct aliexpress page.

I've researched this on and off these couple of months without any results. Today I found a Reddit post with a couple of people with this same issue but no solutions were replied.

Now that I am troubleshooting this, turns out that by disabling Kaspersky Total Security on my PC, this link opens correctly (aliexpress page).

Anyone knows why may Kaspersky be hijacking google ads links to aliexpress and redirect them to taobao?! Or what is going on?

Please provide version of K. product installed.

 

Check in Your browsers the add-ons installed, also check in the browsers the default Searcher (it should be Google, not a suspicious one). Run a reset setting in both browsers.

 

Check Your system for some suspicious PUP/PUA/Adware installed.

 

Download: https://es.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/ , run it and post here the possible detections found in the log.
