Kaspersky Protection is deleting my new tabs

I have the Kaspersky Protection extension on my Google Chrome. When I try to open a new tab (using either right click -> Open link in new tab, or Ctrl + click), sometimes the new tab gets immediately deleted. I understand that this might be useful behavior for some users, but I don't want it and I don't see any way to disable it, either globally or for certain whitelisted sites.
