I am having a hard time getting into a chat room on slack.com specificaly libation.slack After recently changing my password on the website, it refuses to let me in stating that either e mail address, or password are incorrect. I have gone onto Chrome and deleted all slack history for the last couple months and still cannot get in. Recently going back in with everything cleared out, entered e mail address and as I was hovering over password Kaspersky popped up. I believe Kaspersky maybe using old information

Hello brewerbach, Welcome!
  1. When you say "Kaspersky popped up", can you detail the popup or show us an image please?
  2. Was it an error alert popup?
  3. If you look in KIS REPORTS, can you see any events/errors related slack & or libation ?
  1. To access KIS Reports, open KIS, select More Tools, select Reports, select Detailed Reports.
  2. The Reports filter can be 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days & or All Time, All events V drop-down shows the different reports KIS collects, for example Web AntiVirus, Detected Objects, etc.
Please let us know? Thank you.

The folks at slack.com suggested the following: So looking through our logs the login issue seems to be with the password, and if you've changed this recently it may be that your browser has cached the old password still. As a next step can you please try clearing the browser cache and logging in again. I'll post the steps to do this for our supported browsers: For Chrome v63+ (Windows & Mac) 1. Open Google Chrome and go to chrome://settings/siteData 2. Use the Search cookies search bar at the top right of the page to search for your workspace name (i.e. WorkspaceName.slack.com). 3. Select Remove All Shown. I erased the history of anything with the word "slack" in it And tried from begining again telling me wrong user or password

Hello brewerbach, Thanks for posting back.
  1. When the issue repeated did you contact the Slack Technical Team again?
  2. Have the Slack Technical Team offered to help by resetting the profile/password?
  3. Have you tried another browser?
  4. Is KIS logging any events in Reports?
  5. When did the issue start? (timeframe)
Please also tell us:
  1. Operating system name? version? build?
  2. KIS version? patch(x)? x = letter
To find the information, open KIS, select the ?, next to the settings :gear:icon, Support window opens, on the Support screen you'll see Opsys info & KIS version & patch(x) x = letter, please post this information, note, please don't post the License Key.
  1. Also, is KIS Free? or Premium? (see note at the end of my reply)
Please post back? Thank you:pray_tone3:. Note: Kaspersky free software has (config) limitations, advertising & no Technical Support. If we know this, we ensure we never waste your time, advising you, for example: "contact Technical Support".
