With Windows killing support on Windows 7 and Windows 10 being a security nightmare, I am thinking of changing to a Linux distro. While I be able to use Total Security in that case? ANy other security/ virus solution come to mind?

Welcome. While we don't discuss non-Kaspersky products on this forum, there are Business Linux solutions from Kaspersky. I am not sure about Kaspersky for Home User Linux distro. Last I heard was no. For Home User products, please see: https://usa.kaspersky.com/home-security

I've just done the same, Tom. Migrated my Windows 7 to Ubuntu only to find out that my Kaspersky Total Security is not compatable...well, at least my wife's laptop and our android phones are covered...Bizarre that Kaspersky doesn't support Linux????

Hello guypringle, Welcome! Regarding (your) KTS and operating system compatibility: On the android, even tho the license is Kaspersky Total Security, the actual software installed is Kaspersky Internet Security. There is no KTS for Android, MacOS & iOS - only KIS. Ditto for Kaspersky Cloud Security, consumers buy, thinking KSCloud will be installed, not so, KIS is the ONLY software that's always installed. Best regards.

The solution maybe is: Install waydroid on linux and use Kaspersky Android for free. But you must have knowledge to play with settings in waydroid to control at least hdd/ssd partitions. It is just idea.
