Kaspersky for three devices: What does that mean? How to?

Koma

Recommended Posts

Just purchased Total Security for 3 devices it claims. Does that mean i can manage 3 different computers? Not sure (and didn’t confirm before purchase) just exactly what “3 devices” refers to. Assumed it would be like PC Matic….  Any help would be appreciated….

Thanks

Hello @Koma,

Welcome!

  • A 3 device License means, Kaspersky Total Security software can be installed on 3 devices
  • The first device the software is installed & activated on, is the start date of the license, so, for example, if the software is installed on one device today & not on either remaining devices for x months, the start date of the license remains as today.
  • If the License is for 1 user, you may have 1 MyKaspersky.com account & one Kaspersky Manager Vault installed on up to 3 devices.
  • The one Kaspersky Password Manager Vault installed on up to 3 devices uses the same Master password.

Thank you🙏

Hello @Koma

You’re welcome!

  • On each computer, download the Kaspersky Total Security software, the software can be downloaded direct from the Kaspersky site or from within your MyKaspersky account, either option works.
  • Install Kaspersky Total Security software on all the computers.
  • Activate Kaspersky Total Security on all the computers with the same activation code.
  • ➡ On each computer, after installing and synchronizing the Kaspersky Total Security application with your MyKaspersky account, run:
  1. A manual Database update - allow it to complete.
  2. A Full Scan - - allow it to complete.

Please post back if you have more questions?

Thank you🙏
