To make this quick, Kaspersky is often times using 25%-50% of my C Disk, filling it up with 4GB+ of data I have no idea what is. The problem is uncontrollable, the only way to solve it is to manually disable the antivirus, which obviously is a no go.

* It all starts slowly, but speeds up. Say that at the start I have 8GB of free space. The number starts to decrease with time (Around 10mb/sec,) if I try to combat it, it sometimes speeds up. So after disabling the AV for 3 minutes it sped up to about 300mb/sec. Then after disabling for 15 minutes it sped up to a whopping 500+mb/sec, when in panic I disabled the AV.

Hello @Acreen
Welcome!

  1. Check & make sure Application traces & or Performance traces are not enabled? Depending on the installed KTS version, the path to check for the traces/logs will be: C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP21.3\Traces  or, if 21.5 is installed: C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP21.5\Traces, delete any traces, logs.
  2. IF neither Application & or Performance traces are enabled, Restore KTS application to Default.
  3. Then clear temp folders, follow: How to delete temporary files and folders
  4. Then shutdown the computer using Shutdown, not Restart, power on, login, make sure KTS is running & recheck the original issue?

Please let us know the outcome?

Thankyou?
