Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud Plus with SmartCard (Belgian eID)

We’re a governmental institution, and our belgian eID card have a smartcard chip. 

This chip is read when accessing certain programs/websites.

 

Since installing a trial of KES Cloud Plus, browsers no longer have access to the smartcard reader.

I assume KES Cloud Plus is blocking this. How can we disable this protection?

Welcome. Same issue with a Kaspersky home product got fixed by disabling encrypted connection scan.

Hi,

I have the same problem with all my clients. the EID-reader is no longer accessible.

In KES, creating a new security profile and disabling “ encrypted connection scan “ doesn’t help.

(under profiles / windows / advanced / threats and exclusions / encrypted conn. )
