Kaspersky does not turn ON in windows security providers

Hi,

Since today, Karspersky is not turning on in Windows Security Providers, which causes Microsoft Windows Security to turn on by default.  License is OK.

 

Karspersky is, however, working normally, but windows reports it off as well as it’s firewall.

Only change done in system was yesterday’s windows update (windows 10 pro here), but reverting makes no changes now, nor reinstalling karspersky, problem remains (I have the two AV working concurrently and Microsoft’s one is very system tasking) so other solutions other than these would be appreciated, thank you.

Hello,

It seems WMI repository has been broken. You may need to repair it via the following step.

Run cmd.exe as administrator privilege and run the following command.

winmmgmt /salvagerepository

After do that to run the following command to check whether WMI repository has been repair successfully or not.

winmgmt /verifyrepository

if it return false results.  You need run the following command to restore WMI repository to default.

winmgmt /resetrepository

After do that, Please reboot PC and uninstall the KTS, reboot, reinstall the KTS. Any better after that? Please let me know the result.
