Kaspersky AV flags an Android app as HEUR:Trojan.AndroidOS.Hiddad.hk

Hi,

I have done full system scan today for my Android phone. I was suprised to see that "HIIT Home Workout" from HIIT Workout Soft, downloaded from Google Playstore was flagged as HEUR:Trojan.AndroidOS.HIddad.hk.

Infected file: /data/app/.../com.hiit.home.workout.hiithomeworkout.../base.apk

Was this false positive? Also, when I removed the app and reinstall it from Playstore it is not flagged as virus anymore. So I am a bit confused.

Initially another AV program didn't flag the app as virus.

Additionally, another app "HIIT Workout for Men" from HIIT Workout Soft is flagged as not-a-virus:HEUR:RiskTool.AndroidOS.Dnotua.bkxp

Infected file: /data/app/.../com.hiit.home.workout.hiithomeworkoutformen.../base.apk

Can you please provide me more information and clarfication, are those real threats or not? Bot apps were downloaded from Google Playstore

Thanks in advance

Hi,

you mean a snapshots or app files (.apk)?
