I have Kaspersky Total Security on my desk top PC running Windows 11. I have NordPass to create and secure my passwords. All works well except on my banking websites etc. How do I make Kaspersky compatible with NordPass? I am an older person (73) so limited in my computer knowledge. I don't know how to even find Nordpass program on my computer. Can someone help me with this please?

Welcome!

Let's start with finding Nordpass  - Nordpass is a encrypted virtual password manager   - the vault  - where passwords are securely stored are in the cloud  - not on a physical device - not an installed program on your computer - all access to the secure Nordpass vault is done via a NordPass Extension  - which is installed in browsers when (you) create a Nordpass account:

  1. Select the browser you use, IF it's Chrome, Edge OR Firefox, we'll use Chrome as an example  - on the right-hand-side at the top of the Chrome screen, select the Extensions icon (it looks like a tiny clipboard) - see image one 
  2. Click on the Extensions icon to open it  - see image two
  3. In the list is Nordpass, with two icons to the right, a drawing-pin📌 & 3 tiny vertical dots, select the drawing-pin  - that will *pin* the Nordpass Extension to the browser so (you) have easy access to it  - see image three
  4. To *unlock* the Nordpass vault follow image four

    In our opinion - it would be dangerous to leave the Nordpass vault unlocked - marked B in image four:

  5. Nordpass / Chrome & Kaspersky in action - in an ordinary browser - image five. 

  6. Because the SafeMoney browser is separate/protected, i.e. not the same as *ordinary* Chrome/Edge/Firefox browser - Nordpass extension has to be added *AGAIN* to whichever browser you use -> open Kaspersky SafeMoney browser - (our image set now is now using letters A, B, C etc..), please follow on

  7. In SafeMoney Protected browser - in the URL bar, type: chrome://extensions/  & select Chrome Web Store (A & B)

  8. In Chrome Web Store - search for NORDP (C)

  9. Select Add to Chrome (D)

  10. Select Add extension (E)

  11. Go back to the top-right-hand-corner of the protected browser window, select the Extensions icon (F), pin the Nordpass extension (G)

  12. Result: Kaspersky SafeMoney/Protected browser (H), NordPass extension pinned in protected browser (I), Nordpass icon in banking website login field (J)

  • *Please provide more information as to how - at the moment - Kaspersky is not compatible with Nordpass, are there errors showing in Kaspersky when you try to use a banking website & Nordpass, if we have more details or even a screen-print please we'll try to assist as much as possible* How to take a screenshot on a Windows PC
  • *IF posting screen-prints - hide all personal information before doing so please*
  • Also, the Kaspersky Customer Service team are always available to support you, contacting them is quite simple, if you'd like to do that we'll step you thru that as well.
