Kaskpersky Blocking Keyboard

Several times over the past month my keyboard’s completely stopped letting me type but commands like ctrl+alt+delete still work fine. Finally figured out that if I exit KIS it comes right back.

 

Any idea why it’s doing this or how to stop it?

There are two recent similar topics with very little information:

I installed KS. After restarting my PC, I can’t login to my PC because I can’t type with my keyboard

Laptop Keyboard Locked

1. Confirm, before KIS was installed, the system was checked for incompatible software?
2. Confirm the device meets KIS hardware & software requirements?
3. Confirm the latest KIS patch(x) x=letter, is installed?
4. Confirm Windows updates are all installed successfully?
5. Has the Windows Keyboard drivers been refreshed? 
6. Has KIS been uninstalled saving the LICENSE key only & clean installed ? 
7. IF 1 to 6 are all OK, please contact Kaspersky customer service, either by Chat or Email, fill in Application malfunction, Other template; support may request Logs, Traces & other data, they will guide you. 

• If selecting Chat option, we recommend you receive a copy of the chat transcript, make sure you fill in your email address AFTER the chat is activated by the Chat agent & complete the Verify your email address email AFTER the chat completes.
• When it’s available, please share the outcome with the Community?
