Just wondering about protection from watching porn video at a site like deleted.

Although I’m using KTS, wanting to know the safety level of that site. It looks as if it originates or is owned by someone in Cyprus. Don’t know if threats originate from there. It looks legit when analyzed by ScamDoc.

Hello @bigmasterdrago,

Welcome!

Looks as tho the topic has been moderated, so, not sure which site you're referring to, however, remember, a site may look safe on the surface & still carry embedded malware/viruses.

  1. Change Web Anti-virus settings to Extreme, “Increased protection for dealing with risky sites & downloads”, note, may impact performance.
  2. Use KSN.
  3. Use the same precautions you'd use anywhere when surfing the net.
  4. Don't click anything suspicious.
  5. Check all suspicious links before selecting them.
  6. Make sure Kaspersky software & Databases are up to date.
  7. Make sure the system is up to date.

If you have any concerns, please log them with Kaspersky Technical Support, they have the technical expertise to assist.

Thank you🙏

Yes, I see the link was deleted. Both of those links were followed by the little Kaspersky green shield thingy. My original impetus of asking here was to determine how well the user is protected when watching adult video online.

I’ve not been able to find that extreme setting. I’m using version 21.3.10.391(f) of Kaspersky Total Security.

Over the years, I’ve had great success using Kaspersky except for it preventing the use of a hot key string in another piece of software outlined in another thread last March -

Link

Technical Support claims it will be fixed in the next version, whenever that will be.

Hello @bigmasterdrago

You’re most welcome!
Update your other topic with the advice (you posted above) from technical support please, from what we can see the  'Alt+Shift+Ctrl+P' - Turning Off issue has nothing to do with the porn issue.

  •  IF you have any concerns or issues regarding surfing porn sites, please log a case with Kaspersky Technical Support.
  • The Kaspersky Community will not be trouble shooting porn web issues.
  • Web anti-virus Extreme →

Thank you🙏
