JDownloader - detects as trojan

Hi 

 

Im trying to download JDownloader from their site for windows 10.

However Kaspersky picks it up as a trojan. 

even disabling Kaspersky doesnt seem to help.

and this is a legitimate exe file from the JDownloader site

any way around this?

i tried the tech support but under the “select application field drop down”

it says no results found and i cannot ask the question since that is a mandatory field.

Checking the possible false detection, thank you for reporting.

As for the issue creating a ticket to support - this is a known one, we are working on resolution. 

I will post here when I get a response from malware analysts on the detection of Trojan-Downloader.MSIL.Seraph.ars
