Add a description - prefix each site with a letter, that way you can choose the order of the sites

Your suggestion does nothing to place the list of websites in alphabetic order. The websites are listed in the order with in which they are entered. If what you propose would put them in order, then a simple name typed into the description field do the same thing. My description fields all specify the name of the website and they are not in order. That is the problem.

This is a programming issue not a data entry matter.
