Got an email saying that my account will be deleted since i haven't logged in for awhile now.

Yes this mail is legit and it is only notification mail.

Yes, this is our email campaign as part of the procedure to remove inactive My Kaspersky accounts.

I got the same. My account is active and in use. So how do I prevent deletion?

Welcome!

  1. Sign-into the account, if either the Privacy policy & Terms of Use appear - acknowledge those. 
  2. IF (you) receive *another* account-deletion email, log a request with Kaspersky Customer Service, https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts - select either Email or Chat, then fill in the template as shown; include a *detailed history*;  select (your) Kaspersky software from the drop-down-list (A). 
  • *Also* -> IF using Chat - *before* ending the chat -> ask the operator to email (you) a copy of the chat transcript - otherwise (you'll) have no record of the chat*    image.thumb.png.d6fe5cfc560dc73067e28edad6963f5c.png
