Is Kaspersky Internet security slowing YouTube streaming?

Since last few months streaming on YouTube has become difficult with buffering and frame drops
I always thought it was due to the pandemic.

But i found out that after closing Kaspersky internet security the streaming becomes fast.I have attached both stats before closing and after closing KIS.

KIS version :20.0.14.1085(k)
Win os: win10x64 build 18353
chrome :Version 83.0.4103.106 (Official Build) (64-bit)

   With Internet security on

 

 

After closing KIS

I have deselected cost-aware networking and traffic processing also anti banner is off still no change.
Only after exiting KIS the streaming speed becomes normal.

I also like to add i have restored the hosts file to original and also used kavremvr.exe for a fresh install of KIS still the problem persists.

 

While downloading there is no problem in the speed

Any help would be appreciated

I’m also getting the same issue, my internet speed is currently running at 25Mbps, but I can barely stream decently a 480p video. It feels like my connection is less at 1Mbps.

 

I just installed KIS last night, and I am already leaning towards uninstalling this.
