Hey guys, Today I noticed something very strange on my PC. It says I'm connected in a network named MARCELO3, though I only have two networks in my home, named "MARCELO" and "MARCELO2", and I've never configured my router to a network named MARCELO3. Is this some bug on windows or could it be a virus? Thanks for the help.

Hello migmarc, Welcome! Is Kaspersky Secure Connection (Kaspersky's VPN) - installed, active? If you go to (Windows) Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections > Change adaptor settings - are there any enabled Kaspersky Security Data Escort Adapter(s)? If KSC is installed/active, can you check the settings: IF "Apply general rules on connection to Wi-Fi networks" is on, KSC will be managing your network. ---- Also, please let us know:
  1. Operating system, verion, build?
  2. KIS, version, patch(x)? x = letter
  3. KIS - free or paid?
  4. If KSC is installed, version, patch(x)? x = letter
Thanks! KSC reference reading: https://help.kaspersky.com/KSDE/Win4.0/en-US/126993.htm KIS reference reading: https://help.kaspersky.com/KIS/2020/en-US/87342.htm
