iPhone e - Anti phishing is scanning links even when I'm not browsing

Hi,

I recently installed Kaspersky internet security iPhone .

The Anti phishing is scanning links even when I'm not browsing. I keep getting notifications "Unable to check the link, Please be careful when browsing this site" Since installing the app, kaspersky has scanned around 7000 links and I surely have not visited so many links in past 24 hours.

Is this a bug ? Which links is Kaspersky scanning ?

Did anyone experience this issue and what is the solution.

Can you please specify your application version : → Your profile → Info
Please disable temporary the Anti-Phishing option ?

Hi.

After googling the same notification message, I only got this result. I'm getting the same issue, my phone screen is blocked and I'm still getting this weird notification message without doing nothing on the device, I have no idea what links it's checking.

My Kaspersky (for iOS) version is 2.86.0.136

Disabling the phishing and malware filter does seem to solve the issue, but tbh this looks more like a workaround. Is there a way to fix it? I'd like to know whats happening, if possible

Hello @shw02,

Welcome!

  1. Is a workaround, it was suggested as a temporary test to check the outcome - not as a recommended solution -> the original OP did not reply -> the issue is outstanding with Kaspersky & has been for sometime.
  2. Please log a request with Kaspersky Customer Servicehttps://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts - on the support page, select either Email or Chat, then fill in the template as shown; please include a *detailed history*, include screen-prints IF they show the issue:
*Also - IF using Chat - ask the operator to email (you) a copy of the chat transcript *before* ending the chat - otherwise (you'll) have no record of the chat*

  • Please share the outcome with the Community, when it's available.

Thank you🙏

@shw02 Welcome.

Also , please uninstall  Kaspersky and your browser(s) , reboot your iPhone and reinstall ? I assume that your iPhone (? model number ?) is not jailbroken …

If no fix please reset your iPhone to factory settings.
