Installation Issue – Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent

I am experiencing an issue while installing Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent. The setup wizard fails with the error:

"Setup wizard cannot process the internal error."

 

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

1. Fully uninstalled Kaspersky software(kavremvr) and restarted the system multiple times.
2. Cleared registry entries under:
   • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\KasperskyLab
   • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab
3. Deleted residual folders:
   • C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab
   • C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab
   • C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab
4. Disabled other security software (e.g., Windows Defender/Sophos) before installation.

I used this article Cleaner tool for removing information about installation of Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent or Administration Server , and it resolved the issue.
