I’ve just purchased a new Lenovo Windows 10 laptop. I’m reading general tips to setup a new computer. Does Kaspersky have any general tips on how to setup KTS and KPM on a new computer? I know I want to setup KTS and KPM before doing much else. I do have an account on MyKaspersky.

@kjj Important: Before installation please add you license in your MyKaspersky account, also please take care to remove any preinstalled security suite from your new laptop.

@Berny Thanks for the information. I actually already have a KTS license for 3 devices (only one used) maintained in MyKaspersky. I will probably use Protect New Device from MyKaspersky to install KTS and KPM. 

Will Windows Defender be deactivated during the KTS install?
