Hi,

Additionally, you have to provide more information about the version and build of KSOS, OS, Country, etc.

Hello @sonhcvn

As well as above comments this procedure might work.

When Kaspersky Small Office Security stops at 66% during installation and disappears, this can often be due to one of the following issues:

  1. Conflicting Software: Other antivirus or security software installed on your system may interfere with Kaspersky’s installation. Make sure you have uninstalled any other antivirus programs, including previous versions of Kaspersky, as they may conflict with the new installation.

  2. Insufficient Permissions: Sometimes, administrative permissions are required for a complete installation. Try running the installer as an administrator. Right-click the installer file and select "Run as administrator."

  3. Corrupted Installer File: The installer file may be incomplete or corrupted. Download the latest version of Kaspersky Small Office Security directly from the official Kaspersky website, and ensure that it’s fully downloaded before running it.

  4. Security Center Settings: If you’re using Kaspersky Security Center, check if any policies or rules are restricting the installation or blocking Kaspersky Small Office Security from fully deploying. Disabling certain restrictive policies temporarily during installation may help.

  5. System Incompatibility or Driver Issues: Ensure your operating system meets the minimum requirements for Kaspersky Small Office Security. Additionally, ensure your system drivers (especially network drivers) are up to date, as outdated drivers can occasionally disrupt installations.

  6. Check Windows Logs for Errors: Open the Event Viewer in Windows (Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer) to check if there are any error messages around the time of the installation failure. Look for logs under Windows Logs > Application or System.

  7. Temporarily Disable Background Programs: Certain background programs, such as firewalls, disk optimizers, or cleaners, might interfere with the installation. Disable them temporarily and try running the installation again.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Uninstall any conflicting software.
  2. Run the installer as an administrator.
  3. Check for any errors in Event Viewer and resolve them.
  4. If you are using Security Center, ensure that it isn’t blocking or restricting the installation.
  5. Re-download the installer file if you suspect corruption.

If the problem persists, try running the Kaspersky Removal Tool to ensure that any remnants of previous installations are cleared, and attempt the installation again.

Let me know how it goes, and I can guide you further if necessary.

Thank you
