I have a very important question, I just want strong protection against ransomware and other viruses in the free Kaspersky product. I don't need other features.

Does Kaspersky Free have the same iSwift and iChecker technologies and provide excellent protection against ransomware and other dangerous viruses? Same as other plans. I just need the protection and not the other features.

Because I trust Kaspersky, is it enough to protect against viruses and monitor the device from ransomware and malware?

Please help me, I need excellent protection only for my needs

Yes. 

Read: Scan settings. 

You can check this in the *app* -> everything without a crown👑 IS available, IF there's a crown👑 -> it's NOT available in Kaspersky Free

Reassure me about Kaspersky Free without additional features. Does it protect me from ransomware and other viruses with the same quality of scanning as paid products?

Kaspersky Free is excellent and, at least in my opinion, it outperforms Windows Defender. However, the paid version of Kaspersky offer more advanced protection features.

Taken for the article above:
Free anti-virus solutions offer basic protection against common viruses whereas paid anti-virus software offers more advanced protection.

So, what you get is excellent, solid basic protection when you use Kaspersky Free, but the paid versions are superior. You know what they say: You get what you pay for...

No, that is not possible.
The paid versions not only have additional (for you superfluous) functions, but also, for example, 'Intrusion Prevention', which in turn requires the firewall not available in the free version. This prevents ransomware attacks better than the free version, but it does not guarantee 100% protection. The user must also be careful.

So from what you said, I can use the program better against all ransomware and all other viruses in general in the free version while using good security practices with it.


Because I really trust the company and want to use the free software, and I don't have money. I just need basic strong protection.

 

Are there also continuous updates to address ongoing threats to the quality of basic scanning in all free and paid versions because I tested it and I believe it uses both powerful scanning techniques?

You're welcome!

The Community has no intention of depriving you of support & the support offered by the Community is not the same as support offered by Kaspersky Technical Support.   

Kaspersky Free has no support available via Kaspersky Technical Support, support from the Kaspersky Community is always available as long as we all abide by the Community Guidelines. 

Questions are fine, the same questions, on loop - are not fine - & it's ok to be anxious about security - but, IF (you) are reading the information from *Kaspersky* & (you've) got Kaspersky Free installed & (you've) tested it & not found any problems, you've already done a lot to evaluate the software. 

Some TIPS, IF you have any problems in the future, with Kaspersky Free:

  1. There's no Kaspersky Technical Support.
  2. IF posting screen-prints to the Community always hide any personal information - for example: email address, phone number, user-name. 
  3. IF posting screen-prints to the Community - post the full-screen screen-print in English - to do this - change the Kaspersky Free GUI to English - to do this - press the key combination Shift + F12, to revert to Arabic, press Shift + F5. 
  4. Always look in Kaspersky Reports, for any errors, related to the problem. IF the Report is not in English -> Save the report as a Text file. Upload to Cloud. Share the link in (your) Topic. 
  5. IF the Report is in English, select ONE event, maximise the Report window, & make sure the error detail is shown at the BOTTOM of the Report Window, see image example
