I have a familiy license for KSC but one of my macs runs on an older OS that only support Total Internet Security 2018. I tried to transfer the license to that laptop and enter it manually but both does not work. How can use this KSC license with older software?

What is the “older” MacOs version & build? 

When you say “both does not work”, can you tell me more detail please, are there errors, or ?

The operating system is El Capitain, just a side note, the web interface tells me there is an update but when I download it the setup tells me I cant install it.

3 1 GB of memory (RAM)?
4 660 MB of free disk space?

1. No, this laptop was reinstalled from scratch
2. KIS was dowloaded from Kaspersky web site
3. Memory is 4GB
4. HD free space 200 GB

I reinstalled this Macbook because its struggeling with newer version of Mac OS, so I dont want to update to a newer version.

2. KIS18 is currently installed with license that has 30 days before the license expires?  Is that correct?
3. Error has occured, bc, there is the msg: “Ein Update is verfugbar/An update is available”, & when you tried to update, it failed? Is that correct? 
4. Just FYI: Kaspersky Security Cloud “License” installs Kaspersky Internet Security AV engine/software.

• 4 Means, the Kaspersky Security Cloud License installs Kaspersky Internet Security software, so the AV protection is KIS…. 

1. KIS “licensed software is already installed and has 30 days to run - correct?
2.  Are you trying to add & or activate a new License as well as apply an update?

It mean that the Cloud license “should”work with KIS but it does not work.

I see 2 issues:

1. Trying to apply a license when there’s already an existing license.
2. Unable to apply a KIS update… 

(imo) the solution to 1) would be to let the 30day license run & expire, then apply/activate the new license, issue 2 may resolve as a consequence. 

Or, raise a case with Kaspersky Technical Support, ask them for assistance? 

Just FYI: I’ve been able to find a different KIS18 installer, however, language version is not available…

Kaspersky Security Cloud for Mac is activated through My Kaspersky.
