How to update Kaspersky Secure Connection

Hello, I have Total Security 2020 and I’ve just discovered there is an update to Kaspersky Secure Connection. Does it automatically update itself or do I need to uninstall and reinstall the new version myself? Thanks

• Follow the How to install the application >  Checking for a newer version of the application documentation.

I was curious as to whether being part of the Total Security package meant automatic updates but it seems not. I assume it will automatically detect the licence key. I will download the update and see if it does.

• Even though KSC-VPN automatically installs when KTS is installed, KTS updates do not apply to KSC-VPN, completely separate software and separate updates of patches & versions.
• Regarding the license key, our recommendation is: copy the key BEFORE updating, it may be necessary to reapply the key.

@Gb2015 A new Kaspersky version is always detecting a valid license. Also, please take care to add your license(s) in the My Kaspersky portal.
