How to Stop Kaspersky Pure Updated To Total Security

Hello, everyone. Can anyone help me solving my update problem?

I have Kaspersky Pure in my computer and the license too. But somehow, my program always updated to Kaspersky Total Security, and the license useless after the update. How to stop the update? These happened maybe 3-4 times to me and i have to uninstalled it then changed it to Pure again. Please tell me how to stop this program to automatically update into Total Security?

Please not PURE is old new Total security replaced old PURE. It is better use Total security it is new (new layers of protection, enhanced performance etc).

I will glad if i can use new Total Security with the old license.

But my license won't work out in the new Total Security. It waste of money if i buy the new one while the old one still 189days remained. ???

I understand but where you get pure license? It is from 2013 year and end of support was in 2015 database update (updates virus definitions was ended in 2016). Simply is not functional without updates it is like without antivirus.

 

Maybe in settings in pure is option to download new versions? And uncheck box this?

Maybe try this open pure settings update and there is check box notify when update is available or new versions or something like that uncheck this... Maybe will be helpful.

I bought the license from online store, I've contacted Kaspersky from messenger chat, and i think they will help me find out about the license. 

 

I think there is something i need to uncheck/check in setting just like you said before.. But i still haven't find it yet.

There (in older versions) is probably checkbox for do not download new versions ( in new version is this feature removed)..
