Dear Flood,

Open server is a test environment for programming: ospanel.io

I have Kaspersky in Russian, so maybe translation is not fully proper. Kaspersky classify programs like reliable, limited and unusable. [Trusted, Restricted, Untrusted] And I couldn’t fine where can I change this for any program e.g. from limited to reliable.

Thank you,

Viktor

Hello  @danvik57, Victor,

Thank you for the extra information 👌

  • Open KIS, select More Tools, select Manage Applications, select Application control, select Manage applications again, search for Open server / ospanel.io, change / apply the Restriction you require - see images

  • In the image examples, KTS is used, it’s the same process for KIS, and, I’ve shown KAV, not Open server / ospanel.io.

❓ A question please: at the moment, what Restriction has KIS automatically classified Open server / ospanel.io as?

Please let us know?

Thank you🙏

Thank you! I tried to change in “Details and rules” and I couldn’t fined. I run over?!

Open server is a test environment for programmers. It is emulating servers and net.  It should write to HOSTS  to create emulated domains. As I understand this program should be used without internet connection, because it gives vulnerability. If program does not running I can download or search on the Internet.

Thank you very much for help, because I became “blined” and spend few hours on other places.

Hello @danvik57,

You’re most welcome☺ !

  • We’re a little unclear, is there still an issue, is KIS showing any errors for Open server / ospanel.io?
  • If “yes”, may we have a KIS All Events Report please - follow the video as a guide
Link

  • Save the report as a .txt file, attach📎  to your reply please?

Thank you🙏

@danvik57 hello,

Could you provide more detailed ans step-by-step scenario of the issue with screenshots?

Thank you!

My problem is solved. It was my fault, because I could not find where change status of the program to trusted in KIS. KIS worked according rules. No messages.

The message came from Open Server panel “The HOSTS file was unwritable, The program did not started”
