Hi there,

Im on the total security application. I ahve lloked through every menu and I cant seem to find a way to block a website.
Checking online this can be done on older versions. But in the current UI this doesnt seems to be a thing.
Can someone please confirm if this still can be done and how to do so?

This is on windows 10 PC.

Hello @TAHU

  1. Also, which KTS version & patch(x), X = letter; on the Windows taskbar or hidden icons, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select About
  2. Use KTS Firewall packet rules & block the website domain IP(s) = Remote addresses field (image 1).
  3. Get the domain ip with: https://whatismyipaddress.com/hostname-ip
  4. ?After configuring the block, the rule must be moved to the top of the list (image 2) - this is very tiresome as it has to be done by selecting Up, then Confirm, then Up, then Confirm, manually ->  16 times (assuming you have the standard KTS Firewall template); if you've configured the Firewall previously, there may be more steps up to the top to move the rule, it's a painful process? (ioo Kaspersky could easily automate this aspect of the process)

Add/remove a website to/from the list of exclusions

By default, Kaspersky Internet Security doesn't block tracking activities on the websites of Kaspersky Lab and its partners. You can manually enable blocking of tracking activities on the websites of Kaspersky Lab and its partners.

By default, Kaspersky Internet Security also doesn't block websites known to be incompatible with Private Browsing. The list of incompatible websites is updated as a part of the application databases. You can enable blocking of these websites manually.
