Where do I go to add a file extension to an Allow list?    IE. filename.xyz   How do I allow .xyz?

Hi,

Welcome.

You can add into exclusions.

Go to Settings > Security Settings > Exclusions and actions on object detection > Manage exclusions > Add
And here you can add file or folders (browse) and check protection components (Scan, File Antivirus) etc... This will exclude file from detection (scanning etc).

EDIT : You have KIS installed. So steps are a little bit different.

Settings > Threats and Exclusions > Manage exclusions

Thanks for the reply.  I'm not looking to exclude a file though.  I want to exclude an extension .xyz.  Is that possible?
