how to activate license without activation code

I formatted my laptop without saving a copy of the activation code, nut i have a copy of the license key. 

how can i activate my existing kaspersky subscription in my laptop without the activation key?

1. Have you checked your MyKaspersky account, Licenses tab, for the missing activation code information? 

• If you have the License key but not the Activation code, contact Kaspersky Technical Support, ask them to assist, on Support page, select Country, select Support for Home Products, Application Use, select from available options, Submit a request (via your MyKaspersky account), Phone (not available all locations) Online Chat (not available all locations).
•  For Online chat, select Chat with an Expert, the LiveChat window opens, fill in Name = email address, Email address (yes a duplication😕 ), select Kaspersky product, Activation code - it’s ok to enter NA, Problem description - it’s ok to enter NA, New or Existing issue and accept✔ the TOU & Privacy consent box
