There seems to no option. How do I set up Kaspersky Free cloud antivirus to do that? Isn’t that a very basic feature that should be included in the free antivirus? Please help..

Hello @molemden10,

Welcome!

  • There is no “ask” option, external devices are auto-scanned on connection, you select individual devices or “all”
  • Open Kaspersky Security Cloud application, select Scan, scroll down, select External Devices Scan:

Resources:

Kaspersky Security Cloud scanning the computer, External Device Scan. This option scans external devices that are connected to the computer

Hello @molemden10,

You’re welcome!

When a external device is attached it’s automatically scanned

Thank you🙏

Hello @molemden10,

  • In Windows Device manager, is the Pendrive recognised?
  • Does the same thing happen if the USB port is changed?
  • Does the same thing happen for all external devices?
  • Save the Kaspersky Security Cloud (KSC) Scan report & attach to your reply?

Thank you🙏

@FLOOD I’ll test it on another system later today and report back. Thank you for your help. :)
