How can I regain the Administrative control of my own computer?

I did have some Administrative control of my Windows 10  Home personal computer.  I’m using Kaspersky Total Security as of 11 Feb. 2022.  I now have no Administrative control because Kaspersky took Total control.

Hello @Steve Starr

Welcome!

  1. (please) Read before you create a new topic!
  2. When you look at your Windows account, Your info, what do you see in the USER field, post a full screen screen image - *hide private information like your name
  3. What Administrative control function(s) do you believe you no longer have, be specific please or give us examples of what is not working, since installing Kaspersky, so we don’t have to guess?

Please post back?

Thank you🙏

Sometimes, you need to be an Administrator to access, modify or install certain files on your PC.
An Administrator account gives you multiple privileges that are not available to normal User accounts.
You can make yourself an admin using Settings, Command Prompt and Control Panel.
