Hi, my computer downloaded this virus: HEUR:Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Agent.gen

But after 2 FULL SCANS with KIS the Virus got quarantine and I deleted it from the quarantine area where it was kept safe (apparently). My questions is, how SAFE is my computer NOW? Has KIS really got rid of the virus or not?

Hello @AncestralAngel

Welcome!

You’ve taken all the correct & necessary steps👏

KIS:

  1. Identified the HEUR:Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Agent.gen file.
  2. Made a backup copy of the disinfected file.
  3. You’ve deleted the file.
  4. You’ve run two clean full scans.
  • The computer is safe

Some follow-up steps you may wish to take:

  1. May sure Windows updates all have a Successfully applied status?
  2. Make sure the KIS version & patch(x) is the latest, on the Windows taskbar or hidden icons, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select About

Thank you🙏
