"Free subscription Expires in 366 days." Does this mean I have to pay after it expires?

Just as the title says.  Today I installed Kaspersky Security Cloud Free and I noticed that is says it will expire in 366 days.  So it’s free for one year and you must purchase a plan afterwards?  Is there a way to continue as a free user after this expires?  I’d greatly appreciate any information about this.  Thank you.

@JulieH, after 366 days the subscription will be renewed for the next year.
