FortiGuard bypass?

I recently purchased Kaspersky Premium, hoping it would allow me to browse the web freely on my university campus. However, it seems that their FortiGuard system is blocking Kaspersky VPN from connecting to its servers. I'm wondering if there's anything I could try before giving up on this.
