Firefox 77.0.1 deafult browser: MyKaspersky login continuous hanging, approx past 2 weeks

No Kaspersky protection extension installed. 

Script from “https://media.kaspersky.com/tracking/omniture/s_code_mykaspersky.js” was blocked because of a disallowed MIME type (“image/png”).

Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://media.kaspersky.com/tracking/omniture/s_code_mykaspersky.js”.

 

With KTS paused and exited, login is immediate.

Hmm🤔 , not exactly “determinative” @Berny, given the issue’s with KTS CR v20.0.14.1085(k); thanks anyway.

• I understand the rationale @Berny, however, the issue “arrived” with patch(k) in a CR release, one would hope it’s fixed by something other than a “ new ” version🤔
• I’m looking forward to the day patches fix “things” and don’t break working “things.”

Issue finally fixed by 21.2

Was already fixed on my side by 21.1 and actually still working  perfectly under 21.2 & FF 83.0

FYI, we have written confirmation from seven Kaspersky subscribers, the issue was only fixed with the release of v21.2
