File Shredder, delete entire hard drive, " Cannot delete selected files permanently"

I have a few old PCs which I removed the hard drives from. Before I dispose of them, I am trying to use File Shredder to remove all traces of the data.

I have the hard drives in a docking unit and they show up as a normal drive on the PC where Kaspersky is installed.

I am trying to delete the whole drive, but when I select the directors, I get the following message. Even when I try to delete windows user directory, I get the same. How can I just remove and wipe out a complete hard drive?

Hi @Haz, welcome.

You could delete the HDDs with 'CMD->diskpart'.
In your case (disposal) I would prefer the manual method with a hammer or a drilling machine.
