Hello.

Kaspesrky keeps deleting the program I have been using for a decade. The developer issued new update and kaspersky identities it as a Trojan because it contains a .bat file. I excluded and trusted the whole folder and exe file of the program but kaspersky still deletes it. How can make kaspersky to stop removing the program from deleting? Thanks

@skysurfer, Try to set the rule in exclusions like this:

File or folder: E:\MSFS Programs\FSUIPC7\**

Protection components: All components

and

File or folder: E:\P3D Programs\vPilot\**

Protection components: All components

If this does not help, then show screenshots of detections

Ok thanks. So far so good.  Will keep an eye on it.

Back to square one. Kaspersky deleted it again. I turned Kaspersky off completely. Why does it delete excluded files? So much inconvenience. Ridiculous.

File or folder: E:\MSFS Programs\FSUIPC7\** - It says invalid path.

@skysurfer, you need to manually add this path to the "File or Folder" field.

I tried manually add it but is says invalid path. I wonder if this is something to do with •• symbols

If I manually select the path to FSUIPC folder and add\** it opens up downline folders, so I cannot actually select \**. If I copy and paste this entry then I see this error. Another headache is as soon as I start Kaspersky it deletes most of those files immediately making the program unusable. I have to reinstall the program again and again. But as soon as I start Kaspersky it removes files again.

Thanks.

@skysurfer, you don't have to choose this path. (Don't need to use the "Browse" button).
You need to create a new rule and manually write this path in it.
You can use copy-paste.

OK, I see it now. I just added it. I also added that troubled .bat file. So far I was able to run the program. Will keep an eye on it. Thanks for help.

Back to square one. Kaspersky has deleted the program and all associated files again. This is no longer funny. All files and the folder where the program resides are excluded and trusted. Why does Kaspersky keeps deleting it? I cannot reinstall this program indefinitely. I have to ask the developer to reactivate license key which has limited numbers. I will probably go with different AV program and call for a refund.
